About

What *stellarii is.

*stellarii is an artist's incubator — one studio, several mediums, run under a single design language. Apps, film, music, writing, design: different outputs, same discipline. The name is the studio's; the work underneath it is medium-agnostic.

It exists because building never stopped being interesting — it just went quiet for a while, and then picked back up. What restarted it was treating software the way any other creative medium gets worked: draft, revise, throw out, keep what holds. So this is a playground for testing ideas fast, in the open, in whatever form they want to take.

How it works

A fast loop, run the same way regardless of medium.

1

Build.

An idea gets a real, working draft fast — an app, a scene, a track, a page — instead of a pitch deck about one.

2

Keep what sticks.

Most drafts stay drafts. The ones that hold up under a second look get carried forward and developed properly.

3

Snowball the rest.

What a build teaches — a piece of design, a technique, a lesson — carries into the next one, so the studio compounds instead of starting over each time.

Five areas

Apps

Apps, shipped to real users — sortes, scvlpt, worlds, hyppo, and whatever's next.

Film

Short-form — written, shot, and cut in-studio.

Music

Original tracks, made in-studio.

Writing

Essays, fiction, and proof a human wrote them.

Design

Brand systems and editorial design — including this site.

Five is the list. Nothing's on it that isn't actually being made.

Trinity, in brief

Trinity is the venture arm inside the studio — B2B products, co-operated rather than solo. It runs alongside *stellarii's own apps and creative work, not instead of them.
